(Burnsville, MN) – At an unprecedented virtual conference prompted by the COVID-19 health threat, last night Savage and NW Burnsville Republicans unanimously endorsed Pam Myhra as their 2020 candidate for the MN House of Representatives (House District 56A). George Damian, Chair of the local GOP Executive Committee, said, “In such uncertain times, I am especially pleased that we have Pam Myhra as our candidate to represent us in State government. She is a proven public servant who has consistently demonstrated her ability to listen to and respond to concerns in our community.”
Myhra is a Certified Public Accountant with an active license and former audit manager at KPMG, an international public accounting firm. She previously served in the MN Legislature for two terms from 2011 to 2014 and chief-authored unanimously passed House bills on Digital Learning and Government Transparency signed into law by Governor Dayton. Myhra, a longtime resident of Burnsville, is a mother of three adult children and married to her husband, Chuck, for 38-years.
Myhra said, “I am truly honored to be unanimously endorsed by the Savage/Burnsville Republicans and I eagerly look forward to personally connecting with Savage and Burnsville neighbors when we emerge from this current Coronavirus threat. In the meantime, please feel free to contact me through my website www.pamforhouse.com and please stay safe and well.”
